We're seeking a high-calibre Senior Category Manager to join a growing team on a hybrid working model.
In this results-oriented role, you'll leverage your proven category management expertise to develop and execute strategic plans that maximise market share and revenue. You'll be responsible for a specific product category, leading all aspects of its lifecycle from analysis and planning to execution and optimization.
What you will do:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Manage supplier relationships to negotiate favourable contracts and ensure product quality.
  • Lead new product development initiatives and manage product lifecycles.
  • Develop and oversee promotional plans and pricing strategies to drive sales.
  • Analyse category performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, finance) to achieve common goals.
What you need to do the job:
  • Strong commercial experience in category management within a FMCG sector
  • Category strategies that deliver growth.
  • Proven track record of strategic customers management
  • Proficient in excel and comfortable working with large amounts of data and category software and portals.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
