Member Engagement Specialist – 6 month contract

The Member Engagement Specialist role sits within a busy, member-focused team that plays a key role in supporting the wider organisation.
This team manages end-to-end membership processes, including subscriptions, and all member lifecycle activity, with a strong focus on delivering a positive experience at every touchpoint and providing proactive, high-quality support to members.



As a Member Engagement Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Providing proactive support and advice to members in relation to their annual membership
  • Researching complex membership issues and working with a solution-focused, member-first approach
  • Becoming a product offering specialist - be able to guide members on facts that allow them to fully utilise and benefit from their membership
  • Participating in outbound planning, strategy and communications campaigns related to membership management
  • Maintaining and updating CRM systems to facilitate KPI and budget related reporting
  • Acting as a steady and reliable point of contact for all members that are assigned to your remit – act as an account manager for them
  • Amending member subscriptions as they enact changes to their memberships
  • Coordinating outbound communications to members to notify of annual campaigns and updates

Skills and experience you will need for the Member Engagement Specialist role:
  • Ideally: experience working withing a membership, training or educational body
  • Preferred experience: working in a similar role, supporting and communicating with members / students
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and team skills required
  • Ability to record and analyse member data and information with detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication, people and relationship management skills
