Job description

Marketing Specialist Lead
Full-time | Reporting to the Group Marketing Director | Hybrid

We’re looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Specialist Lead to take ownership of a dynamic marketing programme for a well-established B2B brand. Sitting within a wider Marketing team of 10, this role leads the day-to-day delivery of the marketing plan and supports the development of junior team members. The role offers a wide variety of work across digital, content, trade marketing, events, and customer engagement channels.

If you're an organised, action-oriented marketer who thrives on variety and cross-functional collaboration, this could be a great fit. You’ll play a key part in driving brand visibility and commercial success across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the brand marketing plan in collaboration with internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Technical, Training, etc.) and the central Marketing Team.

  • Manage trade marketing activities and advertising schedules.

  • Own brand communications across digital and offline channels.

  • Liaise with research partners and support insight gathering, including customer field time.

  • Oversee website updates and manage relationships with the web and app agencies.

  • Take ownership of the customer loyalty app – including day-to-day management, customer engagement, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

  • Manage the production of point-of-sale and display materials, working with suppliers to ensure quality and timelines.

  • Oversee the brand’s social media presence – developing content strategies and managing content calendars.

  • Create high-quality content (posts, stories, reels, videos) supported by the creative team.

  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content for social and digital platforms.

  • Coordinate mid-funnel content including case studies, brochures, and campaign copy.

  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications.

  • Lead event planning and execution, including trade events and brand activations.

  • Monitor marketing ROI and compile reports and dashboards.

  • Source branded merchandise and manage associated budgets and stock levels.

  • Manage email campaigns, database segmentation, and scheduling using HubSpot (or similar platform).

  • Coordinate QR code usage and customer data capture for marketing activities.

About You

  • 4+ years’ experience in a broad marketing role, ideally in a product, retail, or trade environment.

  • Proven experience managing direct reports, budgets, and external suppliers.

  • Third-level or post-graduate qualification in Marketing or a related field.

  • Excellent communicator who can manage internal relationships and external vendors with confidence.

  • Strong project management and multitasking skills able to prioritise and drive progress across multiple workstreams.

  • Creative eye and passion for engaging visual content, with the ability to shoot and edit short-form videos.

  • Familiarity with digital tools such as HubSpot, SharePoint, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and Monday.com a plus.

  • Self-starter who can take ownership of projects and lead with initiative.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality.

Why Join?

  • Be part of a supportive and ambitious Marketing Team where your ideas and initiative are valued.

  • Take the lead on high-impact projects that directly influence brand growth and customer engagement.

  • Flexible, creative, and collaborative working culture.

  • Opportunities for growth and development in a fast-paced, commercially driven business.
