Role Overview

As the Communications & PR Lead , you’ll be at the heart of the communications function, supporting everything from internal engagement to media relations and social storytelling. Reporting to the Head of Sustainability, this role will see you collaborate cross-functionally, manage external agencies, and deliver high-quality content and campaigns across channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver internal and external communications across formats and platforms.

  • Manage internal engagement channels such as newsletters and the company intranet.

  • Create compelling content for social media, PR, brand campaigns, and sustainability initiatives.

  • Partner with business units to support their communications goals.

  • Lead day-to-day management of social media channels in collaboration with an agency.

  • Draft press releases, feature stories, and corporate communications.

  • Support media relations activity and help raise brand visibility through storytelling.

  • Assist in planning and executing internal events and other high-impact initiatives.

What You Bring

  • A degree in Journalism, PR, Communications, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a communications, PR, or agency role.

  • Proven experience managing social media and coordinating with PR agencies.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and content creation skills across formats.

  • A collaborative mindset with strong influencing skills across teams and levels.

  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.

  • A self-starter attitude with a strong sense of integrity, creativity, and drive.

  • Understanding of regulated or complex industries (e.g. financial services ) is a plus, but not required.
