Marketing Manager – Event / Venue Management.

Marketing Manager required for leading Event / Venue Management operator. Overseeing a team of 5 across digital marketing, Communications, Business Development and Membership this ideal applicant will take responsibility for all Marketing Activities including digital, social, PR and advertising.

 

This role will suit a candidate with a passion for event management, theatre and music who has a proven track record of leading a small team. Strong digital communication / campaign management experience is also ideal.

 

Day to day duties include

  • Understanding the market through market analysis, customer profiling and competitor awareness
  • Devising and implementing marketing strategies with objectives to include increasing brand awareness, expanding the customer base and maintaining loyalty
  • Overseeing and managing a team of 5 members of staff
  • Managing the branding for all sites and oversee the design and production of all collateral, print and digital
  • Work closely with Head of Operations, CEO and other stakeholders on development/improvement of memberships in both venues
  • Oversee business development / sales activity and set annual targets for same
  • Create innovate marketing materials and online activity to engage with existing customer base and new opportunities.
  • Responsibility for the building and content of various websites.
  • Implementing marketing team’s reporting methods and report to stakeholders

 

 

Requirements

  • Strong people management skills
  • Significant marketing experience and a passion for events and hospitality. Experience in the sector is ideal but not essential
  • Prior experience in managing and reporting on marketing budget
  • Strong digital marketing and campaign management expertise
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
