Senior Manager – Marketing Effectiveness
Alternatives is delighted to partner with a leading Global food producer who are currently undergoing a serious digital transformation project. They are currently looking to recruit for an experience Marketing Effectiveness Manager who will have experience across Consumer Insight, Consumer Strategy and Planning as well as Digital Transformation.
Joining a well-established Insights and Strategy team as a Senior Manager the successful candidate will report to the head of this function and have 1 – 2 direct reports. You will work closely with peers across Data and Digital Analytics, Business Performance and Consumer Insights.
You will have 7 years plus experience working within consumer insights and strategy with a proven track record of influencing marketing investment strategies.
Day to day duties include
Partner with the Strategy & Insights lead team to deliver selected commercial digital transformation use cases that will demonstrate value.
Partner with cross functional teams, regionally and globally to recommend annual roadmap for delivery of Marketing effectiveness & Insights, Revenue Growth Management & white space identification.
Develop and implement a robust market effectiveness framework
Recommend key investment choices based on marketing effectiveness, partnering with commercial teams to deliver results
Lead, coach and build capability within the Strategy & Insight team & commercial teams on commercial digital transformation and marketing effectiveness, ensuring a fit for purpose learning agenda is delivered
Build key relationships within our marketing agency eco system that will be enabled by a mixture of both internal and external capability.
This role would be a great opportunity for marketing professionals with experience in Growth Marketing, Marketing Performance Management, Marketing Effectiveness or Consumer Insight and Analysis who are looking to take the next step in their career.
You will have
Ideally minimum 7 years client-side and/or agency experience in an Insights role, ideally from within the Food, FMCG or Consumer Goods Industries.
Ability to influence across the organisation by building mutually beneficial relationships
Passion for effective storytelling driving engagement and buy in to Strategy & Insights recommendations
Clear ability to distil insight and data from multiple sources into compelling, action-oriented stories to unlock growth
Ideally previous experience in either/and Retail Media, Full Funnel Marketing Measurement, audience segmentation.
