Alternatives are excited to work with a leading professional services firm, who are seeking a skilled and creative Events Executive to join their dynamic team. In this role, you'll be the mastermind behind crafting exceptional events that cultivate connections, drive engagement, and leave a lasting impression.
The Role
You'll wear many hats in this exciting position, from meticulous planner to gracious host. Here's a glimpse into what awaits you:
- From conception to execution, you'll orchestrate a variety of events, including client receptions, industry conferences, insightful workshops, and team-building activities.
- You'll meticulously manage all aspects of live events, including registrations, post-event reviews, and even the distribution of CPD certificates.
- Building strong relationships with external agencies and suppliers is key. You'll manage vendors for AV equipment, printing services, and top-notch venues.
- Identify and cultivate corporate sponsorship opportunities, fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Develop and manage targeted hospitality initiatives, ensuring a seamless experience for both internal and external guests. This includes managing guest lists, F&B selection, table layouts, and printing.
- You'll be the master of keeping track of everything, from managing event invoices and payments to supporting the wider BD & Marketing team with administrative tasks.
- You'll manage the BD & Marketing team's merchandise, ensuring a well-stocked inventory of branded items.
We're looking for a seasoned events professional with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience. You'll possess a proven track record in event and hospitality management, along with the ability to seamlessly collaborate with external suppliers.
Here are some additional qualities that will make you a perfect fit:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and managing basic IT/audio equipment at events is essential.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- You excel under pressure, delivering impeccable results even with tight deadlines.
- Previous experience working in a professional services environment is a plus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are key to building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Knowledge of Database Management Systems (experience with Interaction a particular advantage)

- Experience with email marketing campaigns
