Senior User Experience (UX) Architect

Applications are currently being invited for the role of Senior User Experience Architect in the Digital Experience Department in Dublin. Reporting to the Lead UX Strategy designer, the successful candidate will have responsibility for researching, conceptualising, prototyping, testing and reviewing the concepts developed with the UX/UI and Product team.
The focus of the Senior UX Architect is to help research, develop, manage and deliver best in class user experience across all digital platforms (web, mobile and inflight). The Senior UX architect will work across a multi-disciplinary team and will work closely with Business Analysis, UX/UI, Design, Conversion and Content teams, as well as liaising with Commercial and Technical stakeholders.
The role requires excellent project management and communication skills and a broad understanding of all aspects of user experience from user research to writing UI requirements. Integral to the role is the requirement to understand commercial objectives, ensure high quality solutions are delivered that adhere to industry best practice and corporate guidelines.
Key Responsibilities & Duties Include:
? Applying user centered design practices pursuing a cohesive user experience across all digital media
? Designing and develop key components for enhancement of aerlingus.com and mobile to increase conversation and ensure a better customer experience for everyone
? Enabling achievement of commercial objectives and better customer interaction ensuring repeat visits
? Collaborating cross-functionally with Aer Lingus and with external partners to ensure the delivery of best-practice solutions
? Conducting user research, surveys, and heuristic analysis
? Creating personas, scenarios, user tasks and flows
? Creating, managing, recruiting and running user testing sessions on a monthly basis
? Developing ideas and concept through early prototyping, user testing and review
? Delivering user-testing reports with actionable tasks
? Writing specific rules and logic requirements alongside wireframes, to hand over to designers and developers
To be considered for the role of Senior UX Architect candidates must meet the following:
Essential Criteria:
? Bachelors/Master’s degree in Interactive Design, Human Computer Interaction (HCI) or related disciplines or relevant experience
? Proven work experience in User Experience field
? Experience of managing and running user-testing objectives, test-scripts, recruitment, moderation, documentation, reports
? Demonstration of user-centred-design, including user-research, persona and scenario creation, wireframing, UI documentation and specifications
? Deep familiarity of prototyping in typical software such as Axure, Omnigraffle
? Hands-on experience of responsive websites
? Ability to work closely with Designers, Product Owners and Developers
? Experience in working with external partners and agencies
? Fluent in English, both written and spoken
? Eligible to live and work in the EU
? Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport
? Provide 3 verifiable references
? Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check* (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in)
? Possess and be able to demonstrate the key competencies and skills outlined below
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries

Desirable Criteria:
? Experience of UX for mobile and native apps
? Relevant travel experience a plus
? UX Agency or high traffic volume website experience and advantage
? Knowledge of accessibility guidelines for websites WCAG2.0
? A fantastic knowledge of web, desktop and mobile design, information architecture, and usability principles and best practices
? Task-flow creation, wireframe mock-up and prototyping for desktop, tablet and mobile including mobile apps
