Our client, an established sports and entertainment venue based in Kildare are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior Marketing and Communications Manager to join their senior leadership team.
Your role will be pivotal in crafting and executing marketing and communication strategies that align with the company's strategic objectives. Your efforts will drive all event revenue, making a significant impact on the business’s success and growth plans.
Joining a leadership team of 10, reporting directly to the CEO, with two direct reports the successful marketing manager will
Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to achieve the company's commercial and marketing goals.
Create comprehensive marketing and communication plans that integrate multiple facets of our business.
Implement tactical marketing strategies for specific events and product lines, employing traditional and digital media.
Establish a distinct brand for our organization that serves as the core of all marketing and communication activities.
Maintain and manage our websites and communication channels to uphold high standards, a consistent tone, and a clearly identifiable brand.
Leverage social media across all major platforms to complement non-digital sales and marketing efforts.
Oversee the delivery of sponsor marketing materials, including catalogs, websites, invitations and advertisements.
Champion a data-driven approach to marketing, utilizing customer insights to ensure effective communication.
Collect and analyze data to enhance the customer experience.
Identify and establish media partnerships and develop plans to meet customer needs and business goals.
Maintain strong relationships with industry and general media partners, issuing press releases and updates as required.
Manage all third-party relationships, including PR agencies and media outlets, to maximize opportunities and meet strategic objectives.
Assume responsibility for and adhere to the annual marketing budget in accordance with internal company policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience:
Strategic and creative thinker with a track record of bringing innovation to the role.
Relevant marketing qualification and a minimum of five to eight years' experience in a senior role with budget and supplier management responsibilities.
Broad-based marketing and communications expertise.
Profound understanding of digital marketing, social media, and analytics for customer attraction and retention.
Proficiency in building and utilizing customer databases.
Competence in developing and evaluating advertising and media plans.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
Team management experience, including addressing staff issues.
Effective interpersonal and influencing skills.
Strong relationship-building abilities with key stakeholders internally and externally.
Proficiency in planning, report writing, and budget management, including performance reporting against budgets.
