Alternatives are seeking to recruit a Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive within the professional services sector.  This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and motivated marketeer who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the role will be focused on driving and managing the Marketing and Business Development strategy, design, and development. This is a varied and interesting role, which will involve working with multiple stakeholders, and a great opportunity to be involved in a dynamic team. The role encompasses all aspects of business development and marketing.
What you will do:

  • Develop and implement Marketing and Business Development (BD) plans including client development, entertainment & hospitality programmes

  • Project manage the full submissions process and report on results to shape future strategy

  • Support the development and delivery of marketing and events programme aligned to the firm's strategy including reporting performance through marketing dashboards

  • Actively identify and build relationships with key industry associations, memberships and networks to enhance the profile and development of key relationships

  • Source and identify suitable media and recognition awards opportunities

  • Develop and drive content to build the profile and enhance the firm's reputation through effective use of all communication channels and digital marketing

  • Develop and maintain a content management system for firm messaging, niche specialisms, credential materials and marketing activity that reinforces each service line unique value proposition

  • Liaise with external partners and suppliers including web developers, graphic designer, printers and advertising media

What you need to do the job:
The ideal candidate will understand client-centric marketing communications, digital and social media, PR, print and design, advertising as well as events and business development experience.

  • At least 3-5 years’ marketing/business development experience (preferably professional services and degree qualified)

  • Excellent written abilities with strong attention to detail, editing and proof-reading skills

  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate and liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels within the firm

  • Flexible and resourceful team player with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workloads in line with changing demands

  • Excellent organisational skills with ability to meet, and guide teams towards, tight deadlines

  • Self-motivated and the ability to take ownerships of key projects with minimum supervision

  • A good understanding of the marketing & communication process with a strong focus on quality
