Our client, a leading provider of Health Insurance is looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join their marketing team on a 16 month contract. This role reports to the Head of Marketing and will have primary responsibility for leading and implementing their digital strategy. Their digital vision is to create a market leading digital experience for their customers and prospects that inspires trust, motivates brand consideration and drives loyalty. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to deliver on new and existing projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of the Digital Strategy
- Implement the digital strategy working across the business to deliver on commercial and customer objectives
- Influence key stakeholders to ensure that strategy is supported and work approved
- Manage the digital budget to facilitate the implementation of the digital strategy
Lead the development of an enhanced online experience
- Responsible for the online customer experience and usability of the brand website
- Promote the self-service agenda; drive the use of digital to increase self-service and paperless options for members
Delivery of annual sales targets
- Responsible for delivery of online conversions and online sales targets
- Responsible for delivery of continuous optimisations to online sales funnel
- Lead the planning, implementation, management & analysis of all digital display media buying and campaign development
- Lead the planning, implementation, management & analysis of all SEO and PPC campaigns
Lead the management of digital assets
- Act as the digital lead supporting / leading change management projects from across the business
- Lead the digital strategy and approach for ongoing management of all additional web portals
- Lead and manage the relationships with external digital agencies and suppliers
Team lead responsibility
- Responsible for the management of 1 -2 direct reports
- Ability to work cross-functionally and represent digital / marketing team on other cross functional teams
- Represent the digital team at group digital leaders forum
Experience required
- 3rd level marketing degree or digital marketing qualification & strong IT technical skills
- 6 + years relevant work experience in a digital marketing leadership role is desirable
- Experience of managing and leading a team
- Experience of managing a fixed annual budget
- Strong ability to manage projects and organise resources
- Proven track record in delivering quality digital output
- Ability to understand and interpret data to draw out relevant insights
