Senior Brand Manager required to join leading drinks company. This role is being offered a 12 month fixed term contract. Joining a small team, the successful candidate will take the lead on a key brand for this global company.

You will have one direct report and work from the Dublin office on a hybrid basis, 2 days in the office 3 days from home.

Day to day responsibilities include

 

  • Developing, shaping & implementing the annual strategy for the brand in line with the overall business objectives to include clearly defining the KPIs  for the brand
  • Support the Marketing Manager to develop and shape the longer-term strategic vision for the brand.
  • Develop and implement the media strategy, regularly evaluating the media effectiveness & future proofing the strategy
  • Put the Consumer & Customer at the heart of strategy and adopt an agile approach to regularly engaging & seeking feedback
  • Develop strong collaborative working relationships with the commercial & trade marketing teams
  • Support the integration of the BTL activation role into the marketing team, ensuring robust TTL plans are developed in order to deliver best in class execution & delivery of key performance indicators
  • Inspire & lead cross functional & agency teams to develop and deliver award winning brand campaigns that deliver on growing brand power & our commercial objectives
  • Lead the brand performance tracking, utilising key consumer & commercial metrics & working closely with the channel teams to course correct where needed
  • Own the brand P & L, leading & supporting the teams on effective investment allocation, working & non-working ratios & evaluation of the overall budget working with closely with Finance & Procurement
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration with the Global team delivering on agreed campaigns, co-created projects & stealing with pride from the global network where appropriate

 

You will have

  • A third level business qualification in Marketing with 8 years+ relevant experience
  • Proven experience of Strategic Brand Management, Creative Advertising Development, Digital, Media strategy, Sponsorship, BTL/Trade Marketing, Portfolio management, Packaging development
  • Strong P & L management & commercial acumen
  • Be self- motivated, creative and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Be highly analytical with effective planning, organisational, presentation and strategic skills to perform in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to influence across all levels.
  • People management experience preferable – it is envisaged that the role will assume people management responsibilities in the future
