Customer Research & Insights Manager required for a leading FMCG business on a contract (minimum 5 months, with a view to permanency)

As Customer Research & Insights Manager you will report into the Director of Market Insights and will be responsible for the following:
  • Understanding data needs to answer business questions and putting in process research methodologies to gather appropriate data from which to disseminate research and insights to help address gaps in knowledge
  • Briefing research agencies on qualitative and quantitative research studies (much bigger focus is on qual). Providing support to agencies, helping them to understand the brief, review discussion guides and advising/steering them to deliver on research objectives
  • Run research projects independently, reporting back to internal stakeholders on findings
  • Distilling insights useful to the business from data and communicating that back to the business in a concise manner

To be eligible for this Customer Insight Manager role you will need:
  • 4+ years insight/research experience, ideally client side
  • Qualitative research experience, managing methodologies/agencies
  • Experience in interpreting research results and communicating insights to a wider team. Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Proven track record of running research projects independently and communicating commercially useful information back to internal audiences, particularly marketing teams
  • Strong analytical experience
