A Proposition Manager is required to join a large Irish owned corporation within the insurance sector. A customer-focused marketer will lead the organisation on propositions development and implementation. The role will enable you to think strategically with responsibility for developing customer-centric propositions with insight at the heart.

You'll be responsible for the overall definition, development and implementation of our customer proposition strategy. Responsibilities will include defining key customer and market insights, target audiences, the proposition strategies to unlock these and working with the wider sales & marketing team to bring propositions to life.

What you will do:

  • Own the strategic direction of proposition development, with responsibility for defining the vision and objectives
  • Lead a cross-functional team in the development of a customer centric proposition plan
  • Champion customer led decision making, with customer motivations, barriers and behaviours as key drivers of the proposition
  • Define the target audience for each proposition, identifying their key motivations and needs
  • Translate research and data into insight, building a deep understanding of our key customer segments
  • Build customer insight led propositions that meet customer needs
  • Translate complex propositions into clear and concise briefs for internal teams, working closely with the sales and marketing team to translate the proposition into a ‘Go to Market’ plan that delivers against business goals
  • Measure and report against objectives with focus on driving continual improvement
  • Lead the post-campaign analysis process to ensure key takeaways are captured and built into future planning

What you need to do the job:

  • Track record of insight-led product or proposition development, including a strong execution record where you put the customer at the heart of the change
  • Passionate about customers and a customer-first approach
  • Proven record of delivery under pressure and an ability to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Results oriented with a consistent record in managing metrics with impact on business performance
  • Planning & Organisation prioritises competing tasks in a busy environment
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills with the ability to build relationships and influence those around them
  • Problem solving & Decision making: analyses & deals with issues, seeks support as required and takes decisions
