Marketing Technology Specialist
Job description
We are looking for a highly technical, insights-driven Marketing Technology Specialist to join our team at a pivotal stage of digital transformation. You’ll lead the optimisation of our martech stack - primarily HubSpot, WordPress, and associated analytics tools to deliver seamless, intelligent user experiences for thousands of professional members.
This is not a traditional marketing role. While you’ll collaborate closely with marketing and membership colleagues, your expertise in platforms, automation, data, and UX will drive performance and engagement across the board.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimise our marketing technology ecosystem, with a focus on advanced HubSpot configuration, automation, onboarding workflows, segmentation, and analytics.
- Improve and maintain website UX via WordPress: tagging, tracking, journey mapping, and personalisation.
- Use data insights to enhance email campaign effectiveness, identify member behaviour patterns, and improve conversion rates.
- Work with internal stakeholders to join up tech systems (HubSpot, CRM, website) to deliver end-to-end user journeys.
- Implement continuous A/B testing, analytics reviews, and UX/UI enhancements based on behavioural data.
- Provide reporting dashboards and performance insights that inform strategic and commercial decisions.
- Support – there are dedicated and expert IT and Martech support personnel available to help you.
Ideal Candidate
- HubSpot certified with deep experience in onboarding, implementation, or consulting agency work.
- Track record in optimising CRM-driven user journeys, lifecycle automation, and funnel management.
- AI – you should have some exposure / experience of AI and be hungry to learn and implement AI. This is an organisational wide objective already on this journey – full training will be provided.
- Proficient in WordPress UX and analytics integrations
- Technically confident with data, CRM/web integrations, and performance tracking tools.
- Analytical and proactive, comfortable using insight to drive performance across engagement and revenue metrics.
- Familiarity with digital accessibility standards and GDPR best practices is an advantage
