Head of Internal Communications
Location: Dublin (Hybrid) | Contract: Permanent
A senior leadership role driving internal communications for a national organisation delivering essential services across Ireland. Reporting to the Director of Communications & Corporate Affairs, you will lead employee engagement, build leadership communications capability, and align internal and external messaging to strengthen reputation and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver the internal communications strategy aligned with organisational vision and priorities.

Partner with senior leaders to embed best practice, build capability and enhance engagement.

Lead messaging, content and channel strategy, ensuring impactful, data-driven communications.

Support change initiatives and crisis communications, ensuring clear and timely messaging.

Lead and develop a high-performing internal communications team and manage budgets.
Skills & Experience
-
10+ years’ communications experience with 5+ years in a senior internal comms role.

Proven success in complex, regulated or multi-stakeholder environments.

Expertise in change, engagement and digital communications.
-
Excellent leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent experience.
