Alternatives is delighted to be working with a prominent non-profit organisation to hire a Marketing Executive. This is a part time permanent role working 21 hours and 3 days on site a week based in Dublin. The salary will be prorated to reflect this. 

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and an external Marketing Consultant, the Marketing Executive will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the marketing plan. They will be responsible for the co-ordination of marketing activities both traditional and digital. The role will involve tasks across all channels including social media, website, print, events and campaigns. 

This role is part-time (21 hours per week) and permanent.  Working days to be agreed at interview.  The Marketing Executive role is office based at our head office in Dublin city centre.  

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

•    Co-ordinate, develop and implement of the Organisation’s annual marketing plan.
•    Prepare and develop content, marketing assets and other promotional materials.
•    Develop and implement social media activities across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
•    Manage and update Website design and content.
•    Co-ordinate and develop print materials such as brochures and posters.
•    Co-ordinate and implement PR plans.
•    Assist with Event Management and promotional activity.
•    Actively contribute to the creative aspects of the above.
•    Assist in the implementation of brand guidelines across all marketing activities.
•    Maintain records, analysis and KPIs for all marketing activity.
•    Administration tasks to support the marketing activity.
•    Manage external suppliers and partners as required.
•    Other ad hoc tasks as required.

•    Strong project management skills with an ability to work within timeframes and deadlines.  
•    Excellent interpersonal skills & ability to work across a range of teams.
•    Good copywriting skills.
•    Strong attention to detail.
•    Strong reporting skills.
•    Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and related marketing software.
•    Experience in systems such as Google Analytics, WordPress and Mail Chip.

Education, Qualifications & Experience
•    Third level degree in Marketing/Business or a similar discipline.
•    2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role. 

Location
This role is primarily based in the Organisation’s head office in Dublin, although the role will require some travel and a full clean driving licence would be an advantage.
