Our client, a leading Irish organisation is currently looking to recruit for an experience Internal Communications and Employee engagement consultant.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 – 6 years plus experience specialising within a large Employee Engagement or Internal Communications function, you will be passionate about employee communications and developing a high level of engagement from your stakeholder group. Prior experience engaging with a large workforce is ideal.

This role is being offered on a 14 month contract basis initially and will require the candidate to be onsite 2 days per week, once in Dublin City Centre office and one in Dublin North office, parking is available.

Joining a team of 10 across Employee Engagement and Internal Communications you will take responsibility for the following –

  • Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and evolve a comprehensive employee engagement and communications strategy tailored to the business unit's requirements.

  • Supporting Employee Experience: Collaborate with strategic people initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall employee experience and fostering engagement across the organisation

  • Guidance and Advisory: Provide expert guidance and advice to senior management and stakeholders in the planning and execution of engagement and communications projects that align with their business plans.

  • Internal Communications Enhancement: Take charge of improving our internal communications channels and processes, with a focus on delivering the most effective messages to our diverse audience.

  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with the cross-company teams on company wide communication initiatives, ensuring full engagement and participation from staff.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships across the organisation to maximize the effectiveness of communications, encourage collaboration, and engage stakeholders effectively.

  • Performance Measurement: Implement a robust system to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of all communication strategies, platforms, policies, procedures, and practices within the business unit. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to maximize successful outcomes.


Requirements

  • Third level qualification in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing employee engagement and communications strategies.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of industry best practices in employee engagement and communications.

  • Strong analytical and measurement skills to assess strategy effectiveness.
