This Head of Marketing role form part of the leadership team in Ireland and the marketing leadership team for the Group and will be responsible for propelling the role of marketing within the organisation to ensure that customer data and segmentation is translated into customer retention, acquisition and ultimately profit.




Key responsibilities will include:


·         Management of the marketing team in Ireland (including data analytics, CRM & retention, direct response and brand, comms and sponsorship teams)

·         Lead development of meaningful data driven insights through value modeling/attitudinal and behavioural segmentation

·         Development of overall customer segmentation strategy and marketing plans

·         Development of compelling segment led customer propositions which deliver business objectives for retention and acquisition as well as profitability and growth and implementation of same through all channels

·         Local delivery of group brand communications and activation of sponsorship assets to support acquisitions and retention

·         Leveraging  GB marketing team to drive efficiencies & fast track marketing initiatives in the Irish business

·         Building strategic partnerships which are complementary to our brand truths and support acquisition and retention

·         General – reporting, budget management, managing creative and media agencies

·         Contribution to the Group marketing strategy



Ideal Profile


·         An experienced, high caliber marketer with an excellent track record of developing data led segment led propositions and plans that deliver segment revenue, customer and profitability targets

·         An excellent strategic marketer who possesses strong commercial acumen and has owned and delivered in previous roles stretching revenue/customer targets

·         Significant experience and knowledge of customer segmentation methodology, customer insights, data analytics, marketing and service delivery across multiple channels. A proven track record in turning data led insights into market winning performance.

·         A leader with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and develop relationships at senior level across a matrix organisation

·         Proven track record in managing and coaching high performance teams

·         A team player whose has the ability to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in

·         Structured and rigorously organized

·         Highly energetic, innovative and inspiring
