Project Manager (FMCG) – March to September 2020
Are you a senior marketer with extensive consumer marketing experience? This is an exciting interim opportunity for someone who has worked within FMCG.
This role will work with members of Brand team on projects in the domestic and priority export markets, driving the reputation for Irish products in the domestic and priority export markets across the EU, US and Asia.
Core responsibilities of this role across the Irish and international markets will include;
- Assist in the management and implementation of B2B campaigns and projects across sectors and priority markets
- Assist with the roll out and embedding of assets for B2B and B2C audiences
- Assist with developing and finalizing strategy briefs by sector and region as part of planning 2021
Key projects will include B2B Campaign Implementation – briefing media and creative agencies based on sector strategy briefs, reviewing media and creative proposals in line with strategy briefs, signing off media and creative plans with relevant sectors and markets and managing the implementation of the campaigns against set KPIs. You will work with markets teams to imbed assets across all B2B and B2C market activations and ensure all new B2C campaigns are developed in line with consumer creative guide and brand guidelines. Additionally, you will be involved in 2021 planning – analysing all relevant research carried out and draw out key insights that will inform briefs ad liaising with sector and markets teams to finalise briefs.
- Manage and implement Irish consumer marketing programmes across traditional and digital media in conjunction with marketing agencies.
- Manage the evaluation process of 2020 marketing programmes vs set targets
- Provide input into the 2021 annual planning process and the development of plans
Key projects will include Consumer Campaign Management - managing the implementation of the various category consumer campaigns in conjunction with creative, media and PR agencies, liaising with retail buyers on annual programmes and campaigns on an ongoing basis to maximise the impact of campaigns instore. You will also be responsible for evaluating the impact of each campaign against overall impact on target consumers and activity specific KPIs for TV, digital, etc. and working with internal Insight team to track the impact of campaigns against consumer targets. Additionally, you will assist in finalising 2021 marketing programmes for Irish markets in terms of – reviewing market/ consumer research and campaign results, updating marketing strategies where required, briefing marketing agencies, reviewing their proposals against objectives and finalising the annual media strategy and implementation plans.
