The Event Coordinator will report to the Communications Manager and work with colleagues across the organisation and will also provide on the ground event support across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Event planning and coordination
- Event programming and scheduling
- Developing technical schedules and running orders
- Devising contracts and agreements
- Devising tenders and procurement documentation
- Event contingency planning, trouble shooting and crisis management
- Devising security plans and liaising with security
- Identifying new promotional, experiential and branding opportunities
- Assisting with related marketing and communications activities
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Public Relations
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in an events role
- Excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent written and administrative skills
- Strong interpersonal, visualisation and communication skills
