About the Role
Alternatives is partnering with a leading Irish organisation to appoint an E-Commerce Lead. This is a key opportunity for a commercially minded digital professional to shape and drive the organisation’s online retail strategy. You’ll be responsible for optimising the customer journey, growing online revenues, and enhancing the digital experience across a diverse product and service portfolio.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a robust e-commerce strategy to drive online sales and achieve business goals.

Partner with cross-functional teams — marketing, IT, category management, and customer service — to deliver a seamless and engaging online shopping experience.

Manage day-to-day e-commerce operations, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.

Analyse sales performance, web analytics, and customer insights to identify opportunities for conversion and growth.

Stay informed on emerging e-commerce trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve performance.

Track, report, and communicate key metrics and KPIs to measure success and inform decision-making.
About You

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in driving e-commerce growth and online sales performance.

A third-level qualification in business, marketing, or digital marketing (postgraduate qualification preferred).

Proven experience managing e-commerce platforms and digital marketing tools.

Strong analytical and project management skills with a results-focused approach.

A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
