Category and Revenue Manager - FMCG
A leading global brewer, one of the world’s top five consumer product companies is seeking a category and revenue manager to join their business here in Ireland on a permanent basis. This is a key position to delivering their significant channel growth ambition by driving category and brand/product strategy via analysis, insight and innovative thinking to their customers.
The purpose of this role is to understand customers and align product prices, placement and availability with the consumption and shopping occasions. This position reports into the Ireland Commercial Account Director on the ground in Ireland and will be supported by the UK Commercial Functional teams.
In this role, you will build, lead and manage all aspects of the customer contact strategy, driving pricing, product assortment, marketing and promotions for the product portfolio in Ireland. This role supports the Ireland Commercial Account Manager directly and will work closely with the Brand and Sales Account Managers.
You will become an expert of the customer’s business in order to identify growth opportunities both for the business and the customer. You will visit frequently our customers to convert our plan into reality, adapting to feedback.
It is essential that you have the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally in order to get the job done. Communication, flexibility and adaptability are essential.
You will act as an ambassador, passionate about the brands and capable of delivering compelling customer insights and strong brand selling material.
