Exciting opportunity to work for one of Ireland’s leading and largest FMCG food companies based in Dublin.  This position offers the opportunity for a commercially minded professional to develop to marketing manager level within 2-3 years.


Reporting into the Marketing Manager while managing a marketing assistant you will own, develop and implement the brand plans and calendar of activities as well as drive innovation in terms of new product developments, new product lines extensions and new packaging innovations.  You will develop and manage all marketing communications TTL including TV, radio, press, PR, direct mail, digital POS, trade shows, press and more.  


You will work closely with the sales teams and distributors to analyse data, product and market trends in order to develop strategies that maximise opportunities to drive commercial growth.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively develop and manage annual brand plans and budget

  • Develop and manage all TTL marketing communications, leveraging external agency and supplier relationships along with learnings from previous campaign evaluations

  • Drive the NPD pipeline and entire NPD process end to end from ideation to formulation, right through to product launch campaigns

  • Analyse sales, market, product and competitor data/trends to spot and develop opportunities to drive growth across the division

  • Effectively manage and develop a direct report (marketing assistant) 

Requirements:

  • Degree level qualification in marketing

  • 5+ Years’ experience in Brand Management (Food /FMCG/Drinks sector experience essential)

  • Experienced in New Product Development (i.e. working with the manufacturing plant and technicians on new product formulations and flavours etc.)

  • Experienced in packaging and print development and management     

  • Proven track record in executing TTL integrated marketing communication campaigns

  • Team player with experience of working in cross-functional teams

  • Strategic capabilities with a hands-on attitude

  • Excellent Microsoft skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
