Social Media Manager
Job description
We are delighted to partner with a leading European FMCG group with their HQ in Dublin West, who have a newly created role for a Social Media Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Consumer Marketing the successful candidate will take the lead on Social Activities for a range of consumer food brands.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and managing a social media strategy for leading consumer brands, you will be a highly commercial and creative marketing professional with a passion for creating new and innovative content to build consumer followership.
This role will be based in the office in Dublin West a minimum of 1 day per week, you will have 1 direct report and work closely with both the consumer marketing team across Ireland and the UK as well as the broader digital marketing and category teams.
Day to day duties include but are not limited to –
Develop and implement digital and social strategy across all platforms, aligning with overall brand strategy
Manage the company's social media accounts
Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience
Drive engagement and grow our brands social media following
Monitor social media channels for trends, opportunities, and risks, including competitor analysis.
Set and analyse metrics, providing regular reports on ROI and adjusting the strategy accordingly
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, PR, sales, and customer care teams to ensure brand consistency
Be the community manager for all of our social media platforms
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
5+ years of experience in social media management
Proven track record of developing and implementing digital marketing strategies across all platforms
Knowledge of best practices for content creation on various social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Twitter, LinkedIn etc.
Strong writing skills with ability to craft compelling copy
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform decisions
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
