We have a fantastic opportunity for a marketing and communications manager to join a reputable agricultural brand based in Ireland. Reporting directly to senior management this individual will be responsible for driving corporate marketing and communications and supporting approximately 10 global markets in their marketing and communications activities.

Core responsibilities in the role will include:

  • Plan, execute and oversee the strategic development of marketing in line with business objectives and senior management, (CEO, Head of Marketing, General Manager)
  • Develop and implement an internal & external communications strategy to support key corporate and business campaigns
  • Effective communicator/ liaison between different stakeholders in the business: Senior management team including the CEO, General Manager, Head of Marketing, Head of Operations, Head of Finance and Head of Innovation and Engineering as well as sales and marketing teams in local and international markets
  • Develop, execute and manage end-to-end customer centric marketing campaigns and communications strategies in up to 10 global markets
  • Content creation and implementation in the form of articles, interviews, blogs, company magazine, product information, social media posts etc
  • Build media relations with national and international journalists and publications. Manage all media activities including editorial, advertising, interviews, press trips etc
  • Manage all social media marketing including, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, You Tube and Twitter
  • Project manage and oversee videography and photography projects, in cooperation with the marketing coordinators from core and distribution markets
  • Manage software systems such as HubSpot, SurveyMonkey, Drupal etc
  • Pro-actively liaise with sales and other departments on brand, product & communication needs
  • Build a creative, integrated, multi - channel function that builds awareness and reputation and measures the return on marketing investment
  • Work with external agencies on design for marketing/ brand collateral needs

What are we looking for?

  • A minimum of 6 years in marketing & communications experience is required
  • Goal focused and proven ability in achieving results
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to analyse the organization’s competitive position by considering market and industry trends, existing and potential customers (internal and external), and strengths and weaknesses as compared to competitors
  • Thoroughness: Ensuring that one’s own and others’ work and information are complete and accurate; carefully preparing for meetings and presentations; following up with others to ensure that agreements and commitments have been fulfilled
  • Fostering Innovation: The ability to develop, sponsor, or support the introduction of new and improved method, products, procedures, or technologies
  • Be digitally savvy and have gained experience in this area as part of a recent role
  • Ability to plan and monitor budgets
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Play a leadership role in event management by overseeing small- and large-scale events
  • Confident, adaptable, positive with a “can do” attitude
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • A knowledge or interest in agriculture is a bonus
