Alternatives are delighted to be working with an Irish based FMCG company that serves the international market to find a Marketing Executive, providing excellent career prospects and the opportunity to work within an ambitious and growing company.

We are looking for an energetic, creative-minded and highly organised Marketing Executive, Reporting directly to Head of Marketing you will be working closely with other members of the marketing team and dealing directly with senior stakeholders across the business.
You will have the chance to make a meaningful impact, be exposed to and contribute to challenges and projects at all levels across the business. You will assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies designed to increase product and brand awareness. This role requires someone who is creative minded and can work well as part of a team and under their own initiative. It is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, curious marketeer with strong business acumen.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Working Relationships:
- Reporting to Head of Marketing
- Working closely with the wider Marketing, Sustainability, Sales, Innovation, Procurement & Finance Teams.
- Alongside the Head of Marketing, work closely with key strategic partner agencies, including research, creative, packaging & print agencies and government bodies
- Key account customers.
Dimensions:
- Assist Head of Marketing to protect brand integrity and ensure consistent branding
- In dept understanding of our product offering, main European markets, and customers’ needs/ trends. Develop branded communication tools and support the NPD process.
- Analyse data, product, and market trends to help develop strategies that maximise opportunities for our B2B brands.
- Monitor the latest industry trends and competitor activity
- Develop tactical implementation of internal and external communications
- Manages project and category-specific budgets
- Execute marketing plans with excellence including Social and Digital Marketing
- Work closely with UK/EU/ International sales team on implementing marketing comms
- Contribute to culture, process & ways of working within the marketing team
Preferred Education & Experience:
- 3rd level qualification, ideally in Marketing and / or Digital Marketing.
- Commercial experience, within an FMCG environment in either retail or food.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills & highly numerate with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Strong project management experience
- Strong commercial acumen
- Valid passport and willingness to travel abroad for short periods of time as travel to Europe will be required.
