Digital Experience Department
Applications are currently being invited for the role of Conversion Programme Manager in the Digital Experience Department. Reporting to the Head of Digital Experience, the Conversion Programme Manager will play a senior role within the wider Digital Experience team (UX Strategy, UX/UI, content and conversion). The role enables the planning and delivery fulfilment of a cohesive Conversion & Optimisation strategy across web and mobile channels.
It is a cross functional role requiring a balance of skills, including the planning and programme management of the Conversion & Optimisation stream, as well as managing external partners. The strategic objective is to guarantee that Aer Lingus offers all products and services in the simplest, most intuitive and effective way possible across all digital channels, optimising user experience and delivering measurable value against defined KPI’s.
The Conversion Programme Manager will manage a programme of work that spans research and analysis, UX, testing and validation through SDLC delivery with the delivery team (Project Management, Business Analysis, Development, Test, QA and Deployment).
Key Responsibilities & Duties Include:
? Strategically plan and execute a digital optimisation roadmap in conjunction with lead Digital Experience and eCommerce stakeholders
? Programme Management of Conversion & Optimisation work streams
? Research and analysis of competitive landscape and wider digital innovation
? Applying leading Conversion & Optimisation practices and ensure robust and modern processes and methodologies
? Collaborate to deliver optimised digital product solutions to increase conversion and customer experience
? Enable achievement of commercial objectives and best in class user interaction ensuring best practice acquisition, conversion and customer retention
? Programme management and delivery of pipeline through IT SDLC process
? Provide detailed progress and reporting on all Conversion and Optimising activity
? Lead, grow and develop the Conversion team within the Digital Experience group
? Liaise with external partners (Clicktale and Maxymiser), including governance of managed services
? Work with lead stakeholders across commercial and technical divisions
? Develop and implement a testing and process strategy against current and future products and initiatives
? Optimise click to purchase through web and mobile user journeys (Homepage, Landing Pages, Discovery/Destination tools and content)
? Identifying business requirements for developing on-site conversion levers through agile development process
? Increase customer retention through optimised user flows and engaging tools and content
? Champion reporting and transparency around test planning, strategy and results to all key internal stakeholders
? Work with commercial and UX team to develop new and innovative offering to maximise business and user goals
? Work with the Online Marketing, UX and Content teams to optimise user journeys

To be considered for the role of Conversion Programme Manager, candidates must meet the following:
Essential Criteria:
? Extensive online experience (Online Marketing, eCommerce, B2C) with demonstrable experience and achievement across conversion or performance remarketing
? Proven programme and team management skills
? A proven track record of successfully developing and rolling out optimisation test plans
? Demonstrable experience of conversion and journey optimisation, with experience of online marketing, UX and analytics across web and mobile
? An expert user of Google Analytics (preferably certified) and MS Excel
? A detailed understanding of online marketing and user experience across web and mobile channels
? An understanding of user journey (acquisition, through purchase and retention)
? Experience of both MVT and A/B testing
? A third level qualification in a related field or relevant work experience
? Fluent in English, both written and spoken
? Eligible to live and work in the EU
? Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport
? Provide 3 verifiable references
? Able to pass a strict airport security vetting procedure which includes a 5 year background check* (or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport this position is based in)
? Possess and be able to demonstrate the key competencies and skills outlined below
*If you are a non Irish Citizen, you will need to be in possession of a current police disclosure certificate from your home country. If you have lived outside the Republic of Ireland for more than 6 months you will also be required to hold a current police disclosure certificate from that country/countries

? Analytical, numerate with a clear attention to detail
? Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
Desirable Criteria:
? Experience with enterprise level analysis and testing tools (Clicktale and Maxymiser) a plus
