Communications and Events Manager
Job description
Are you an experienced Communications and Events professional looking for a new opportunity? Our client is a leading utilities company seeking a new addition to their team on a 2-year fixed term contract. You will be reporting into the Regional Communications lead and will also act as a liaison for a range of internal teams on implementing a robust media calendar.

Core responsibilities of the role include:
- Responsible for the delivery of effective communications at both regional and national level
- Drafting media plans and additional collateral for a mixture of campaigns
- You will be the key point of contact in all stakeholder engagement and coordination of events regionally and nationally
- Highlight and manage communications, risk and issues
- At least 6 years’ experience in a media relations role and a strong knowledge of the local media landscape in Ireland
- It is essential to have strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong presentation skills is a must
- Ability to work under pressure on a range of multiple projects
- Proven track record with dealing with complex issues, proactively and in a timely manner
