A well known Irish premium food retailer is looking for a Marketing Manager to join their team on an 8-12 month contract. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving and executing their marketing strategy. 

Key responsibilities include:
  • Development of an annual marketing calendar of activity to drive sales both in-store and on line. Co-ordination and leading of the marketing calendar cross functionally to deliver strong customer focused plans
  • Brand strategy implementation including consistency and clarity of message across all elements of the brand plan 
  • Ensuring the co-ordination of online campaign activities ensuring all activities are managed through a consistent and tightly budgeted process
  • Procurement & campaign management of all online advertising activity to support the commercial plan, including managing the design and end-to-end campaign process 
  • Development and maintenance of effective relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functionally ensuring input on various marketing campaigns and activities to deliver on the brand strategy
  • Achievement of brand targets with a strong understanding of the customer segments and how their functional and emotional needs are met
Required Skills 
  • A minimum of 6 + years in a senior marketing role within the Retail/FMCG industry
  • An ability to define clear processes and identify the marketing activities that matter most to driving sales for the brand
  • A third level Marketing or Business qualification
  • A proven ability to lead, engage and develop a team in a fast paced, dynamic innovative environment.
  • An ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, possess strong presentation and organisational skills
  • An interest and passion for food, food trends and food production would be desirable
  • Need to be creatively strong and demonstrate a sharp understanding and passion for the latest trends in food and effective consumer communications
