My client is recruiting for a Global Social Media Manager who will act primarily as a business liaison, directly working on social media strategy and enablement in priority areas to improve social ROI. Additionally to work on the execution of programs that drive social media maturity and adoption in the organisation, including the implementation and management of social media tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Social media strategic guidance and enablement within priority areas of the business
  2. Implementation, enablement and management of social technologies that enable the organisation, such as Social Relationship Software
  3. Help drive collaboration and knowledge sharing within Marketing and Communications around the topic

 

The individual reports to the Global Social Media Director and ideally will come fro the consultancy background 

Skills & Work Experience

Must have

•Marketing and communication professional with a passion for social media

•Work experience: 7-10 years of experience in marketing and communications, with the majority of that time in the area of social media

•Strong expertise and experience in marketing and communications, specifically in strategic use of social media to build awareness, image and support business development

•Experience with implementation and management of social media tools and technologies

•Strong program management skills

•Excellent collaborator; builds effective relationships in large, complex organisations

Good to have

•Strong analytical skills and writing skills

•Strong business acumen

•Strong budget management and financial reporting skills, including large budgets with multiple vendors and deliverables

•Ability to develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues

•Superior oral and written communications skills and presentation skills

•Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet integrate appropriately with other areas of Marketing & Communications and other groups within Accenture

•Thrives on working in intense, deliverable-driven and deadline-driven environment.

•Experience in services and/or business to business marketing preferred
