We are working with a great Irish software business who are currently building out their marketing capability in order to aggressively market their innovative solution to companies in the UK and beyond.
Their main proposition is shifting from a bespoke install to a SaaS model and they are looking to capitalise on this product change by increasing their customer marketing capability.
This job is for a talented B2B marketing manager, you will probably be on your third role and have some management experience. You are ambitious to move into a position where you can really affect change and deliver revenue for your company. Perhaps you are working with a large software firm and are now looking for more control and influence over results through your work.
To be selected for this role you will need to have a blue-chip background in marketing, having worked in a large department with very good marketing processes and large budgets.
You will be an expert in CRM, eCRM, cross selling customers, direct response marketing, acquisition marketing through partnerships and sponsorships and, importantly, segmentation experience. You will be expected to run targeted campaigns based on solid data analysis and segmentation to deliver business results.
You will be able to work with the sales teams and improve data quality, through your influencing skills, but, also by showing the results of this work with quick win campaigns.
Over time you will hire a small team to work with you and you will own the customer, working closely with colleagues in the digital marketing team, the sales team and the brand and communications team. The position reports into a newly appointed Head of Marketing and is a pillar appointment.
