Web Experience Marketing Manager

This role is a core member of the Digital Marketing team focused on equipping and guiding the broader Marketing and Communications organisation to effectively leverage multiple web channels, tactics and tools to engage their target audiences. This individual will primarily be focused on day-to-day creation of web-experience marketing and the publishing functions of for the global and all local versions. Responsible for timely execution of web content ensuring it meets or exceeds high design standards, usability criteria, engagement needs and editorial guidelines.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the publishing process across all sites ensuring content is published in a timely manner consistent with brand guidelines.
    • Review projects and insure the requests are valid and complete; discuss with content owners when required and source additional materials.
    • Monitor project pages for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage prioritisation of content in the publishing queue.
    • Ensure content refresh is timely and aligned with the corresponding marketing and traffic campaigns.
    • Manage prioritisation to align with the editorial and digital plans.
  • Ensure the publishing process meets or exceeds SLAs.
  • Enforce site standards around design, brand and accessibility.
    • Liaise with Digital team to gather and distribute standards and guidelines and reviews
      • ST/AA intro text
      • Large (more than 10 pages) retagging requests
      • ST left nav updates
      • Featured search results
      • Ad page updates
      • Baseline core pages for editorial review
      • Section copy requests from us-en to other geos
      • New AA/ST pages
      • Interactive assets/non-standard pages
      • Big (more than a couple of pages) deletion projects
  • Act as first point of contact for content owners
    • Work on urgent daily needs: ad hoc page development/updates/publishing/ expiry/investigation
    • Investigations into page/project history
    • Arrange training for new content owners on process and site operation
  • Administrative
    • Work with offshore teams to prepare regular periodic reports for management
    • Give people access to edit site/toolkit
    • Submit RMTs for Vanity URLs/redirect/purges
    • Investor Relations PDF
    • Change email addresses
    • New/updated pages report
    • Maintain CO/page owner lists
    • Other ad hoc reporting
       

Reporting to

Senior Manager, Digital Marketing

 

Education

4 Bachelor’s degree, university degree or equivalent, preferably in web design or marketing. BS in Marketing or Digital Media preferred.  Master’s degree a plus.

 

Work Experience:      

Minimum 7 years of experience, with 5+ years of that comprised of technical and or digital marketing specialisation, including web design and build, interactive media or advertising design, digital channel or system integration, campaign planning and execution.  Professional services or business-to-business marketing experience a plus.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Broad understanding of global business marketplace and knowledge of business strategy.
  • Demonstrated skills in digital marketing across web, mobile, social.
  • Experience with broader web design trends in a global environment.
  • Deep understanding of, and ability to apply, integrated marketing concepts, branding and message-development skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.  Strong project-management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with business-to-business marketing and large, complex programs a plus
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet integrate appropriately with other areas within Marketing & Communications and other areas.
