Alternatives is delighted to be partnering with one of Irelands leadingMotor Companies in order to hire a Senior Marketing Executive. This is a maternity cover position with a 12 month fixed term contract based in Dublin West. Reporting to the Head of Brands, you will be responsible for managing the marketing initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with Head of Brands to create and activate annual marketing plan, in line with
each brand strategy and importer objectives, to deliver positive ROI for the business.
• Brief media buyers and manage planning and bookings to budget; monitor brand
media buying performance, and competitor activity and report on industry spend
trends.
• Oversee creative development to brand standards of promotional materials, website
and social media content, advertisements and CRM campaigns to bring marketing
projects to fruition.
• Liaise with Head of Brands to initiate new product national launch campaigns: new
model brochures, social media, website, lead generation and digital content,
advertising, CRM, local and international press events, and PR comms.
• Provide local dealer marketing tools for new product launches and seasonal
campaigns and administer dealer advertising support to include pre-approvals on
dealer marketing campaigns.
• Operate and fully manage press fleet, write and issue press releases, attend motor
shows and international press launches, maintain relations with journalists and report
on sentiment and competitor SoM press coverage.
• Act as point of contact for all arrangements for dealer conferences, launches, national
shows & exhibitions from concept to end.
• Assist Head of Brands with marketing budget: recording monthly marketing activity
spend, forecasting annualised spend and tracking spend by model, media channel and
unit.
• Inform all stakeholders of marketing activity, campaign results and industry trends:
create quarterly shareholder board pack; send dealer and staff comms packs.
• Drive social channels and produce social media activity reports.

Key Attributes:
•    Third-level Marketing qualification.
•    5+ years in a Marketing Executive role.
•    2+ years experience in the motor industry 
•    Full, clean driving licence.
•    Creative thinking.
•    Commercial awareness.
•    Strong negotiation skills.
•    IT proficient in graphic design software, full MS Office suite, Adobe Suite & WordPress.
•    People management experience an advantage.
•    Motor industry experience a strong advantage.
•    Digital marketing experience.
•    Event management experience.
•    Trade shop experience
