Alternatives is happy to partner with Irelands leading conference and event venue to hire a Senior Marketing Executive.

This a permanent hybrid position based in Dublin City Centre with a competitive salary and great benefits.

As Senior Marketing Executive you will manage specific marketing projects and the planning and delivery of a digital marketing strategy for the organisation and provide support to the department head on all areas of marketing and communications activity to help deliver the annual marketing and communications plan.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    1. Digital Marketing

  • Developing an annual digital marketing strategy and plan for the organisation and managing outputs.
  • Driving traffic to the website by way of SEO, PPC, online advertising, online directories and other digital marketing strategies and monitoring traffic and results on a monthly basis.
  • Managing the content strategy and development of communications across all platforms, primarily social media.
  • Planning and managing the website and its development, including updating of content, using the dedicated Content Management Systems, including news, events, imagery, video and other updates.  
  • Managing the planning and execution of third-party e-shots and Tourism Ireland communications end to end, including concepts, researching and generating copy, managing data, design, dispatch and monitoring results.
  • Managing data for Digital Marketing purposes and taking ownership of prospect data quality within Marketing.

    2. Marketing Communications and Project Management

  • Managing key projects within the Marketing Department to support Strategic Initiatives.
  • Support the Dept. Head in the delivery of an external communications plan, including drafting press releases, news pipeline, media monitoring, case studies, managing media contact data and ad-hoc requests.
  • Providing general marketing support to the dept head on key activities as required.
  • Complying with the Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Undertaking any other duties / projects as reasonably requested by line manager.

Person specification:
•    Professional qualification in general Marketing or Digital Marketing

•    3-4 years marketing experience (including specific digital marketing) 
•    Experience managing suppliers.
•    Excellent written/oral communication skills including copywriting and proof-reading
•    Ability to work on own initiative and to work well under pressure.
•    Self-starter, flexible, team player, completer finisher.
