Marketing Operations Manager


Alternatives has a wonderful opportunity for a Commercial or Marketing professional with a flair for Data Analysis and Account Management. We’re working with a top-tier, global consulting firm to recruit for this key hire in their Dublin 2 offices.

In this role you will work to manage the business performance of the Consulting Division, monitoring the company’s interaction with client accounts, and ensuring that all client operations run as smoothly as possible.

You will work closely with Managers in each business area to map out the performance of their market segments, and drive initiatives to improve the operational performance of each segment.

The position will involve:

  • Closely collaborating with business area managers to map out the as-is and to-be environment in each market segment
  • Create data-driven performance reports to inform future strategy for improving engagement with their markets and key client accounts
  • Helping to define work pipelines and create behaviours that set the business areas up for future growth and success
  • Acting as a translator who can convert strategy into action to help the sales teams and account managers thrive
  • Delivering reports on market performance improvements
  • Act as a networker within the Consulting Division to become the go-to person for best practice across all business areas to support business development

The position at Senior Manager level within the company, so you will work closely with the division head and COO to develop new strategies for the Consulting division.

What background might suit this role?

  • A confident leader with Strategy & Change Project Management experience in Marketing or another commercial environment
  • Previous experience with Account Management or Account Managers in Professional Services
  • About 7+ years developing skills in Marketing, Business Development, Strategy, and Change
  • An understanding of Management Consulting and Professional Services, including Financial Services, Tax, Legal, Insurance sectors, etc.
  • The ability to influence leaders, and develop new processes based on data-driven commercial insights
