Our client, a well-regarded organisation within the education sector, is seeking an Engagement Executive to join their team in Dublin on a six-month contract. As Engagement Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of engagement initiatives, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for alumni and stakeholders. This role offers a strong mix of coordination, communication, and relationship support.
Core duties of the Engagement Executive will include:
- Supporting the rollout of alumni engagement initiatives across events, communications, and volunteer programmes
- Assisting with the planning and coordination of events, including logistics, scheduling, and post-event follow-up
- Providing on-site support at events, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for attendees
- Supporting the development and delivery of communications across email, web, social media, and print channels
- Helping to maintain and grow alumni networks by supporting engagement activities and interactions
- Acting as a key support point for alumni and internal stakeholders, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and professionally
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within internal systems and databases
- Assisting with reporting and tracking engagement activity to support ongoing improvements
- Supporting internal processes and coordination activities to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Collaborating with colleagues across teams to deliver high-quality engagement programmes
Skills and experience you will need for the Engagement Executive role:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in events, communications, or stakeholder engagement
- Experience in a customer-facing or relationship-focused role
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Experience with CRM systems or email platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) is an advantage
- Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe) is beneficial
