Our client, a large, customer-focused organisation is seeking an experienced Digital Strategy Manager to lead the development and performance of its digital channels, including a high-traffic website and social media platforms.

This is a key role within a broader Marketing and Communications function, responsible for shaping how customers and stakeholders engage across digital touchpoints.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing & Digital, this role will take ownership of digital strategy, channel performance and continuous improvement across web and social.
You will lead a small, high-performing team and play a central role in delivering engaging, accessible and insight-led digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the organisation’s digital strategy across website and social media

  • Own the roadmap for digital channels, identifying opportunities to improve engagement and user experience

  • Lead and develop a team of digital specialists

  • Oversee website performance, content and publishing workflows

  • Manage social media channels, including planning, publishing and community management

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality content across all digital touchpoints

  • Use data and insights to drive performance improvements

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support wider communications and campaign activity

  • Monitor digital trends and introduce new tools and approaches where appropriate


About You

  • 7+ years’ experience in digital marketing, digital communications or digital strategy roles

  • Strong experience managing websites and social media channels at scale

  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team

  • Strong understanding of content strategy, user experience and digital performance

  • Confident working with stakeholders across a business

  • Experience using CMS platforms and analytics tools

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong sense of ownership
