A little bit about the role….

The role involves working with the Marketing Manager to deliver the digital marketing strategy within the General Insurance Business Key and for the generation of online new business.

The responsibilities entail

  • Implementation of the online acquisition strategy to deliver new business targets
  • Driving and improving customer demand through the purchase funnel using consumer insight and analytics
  • Maximising lead generation and activation including Xsell and follow up of online quotes
  • Implementing the content strategy for the Car and Home insurance sections of the Aviva.ie website to reflect our brand and our market positioning
  • Reviewing analytics and MI weekly to report, review and optimise online sales and website efficiency based on consumer/ customer behaviour
  • Working with outside sources to ensure website updates are functional and that new developments are implemented within time and to a budget
  • Be involved in weekly digital campaigns using SEO, PPC and display campaigns
  • Deliver innovative developments in digital media using mobile and social media
  • Manage a budget while ensuring it is cost efficient and delivered accordingly

 

Technical skills you need to have …

  • 2+years in digital marketing in a services industry
  • Strong knowledge of digital media platforms, particularly SEO, PPC, Display & Mobile Marketing
  • Experience of delivering online campaigns including campaign management and creative assessment
  • Budget Management & excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work on a team in a fast paced enviroment
  • Taking personal responsibility for decisions relating to aspects of the role
  • Communication – conveying complex information to stakeholders at all levels in a clear and concise manner
  • Creativity – ability to drive and champion change
  • Results driven - clear focus on commercial results to meet objectives
  • Relationship Building - ability to establish & maintain effective relationships, internal & external
  • Analytical - ability to absorb & interpret data & information to draw inferences
