Digital Marketing Executive – West Cork City (4 Days On-Site)
Our client is a nationally recognised charitable organisation dedicated to transforming lives through life-changing support services, advocacy, and community programmes. With a strong public profile and an ambitious fundraising strategy, they are seeking a creative and commercially minded Digital Marketing Executive to join their Communications team.
This is a pivotal role where you'll help shape the organisation's digital presence, grow online engagement, and support fundraising initiatives that make a real difference. Working closely with the Communications and Fundraising teams, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to deliver engaging digital campaigns that inspire audiences and generate measurable results.

Core duties of the Digital Marketing Executive will include:
- Developing and delivering digital marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, fundraising, and ecommerce performance
- Managing and continuously enhancing the organisation's website, ensuring content is engaging, user-focused, and SEO optimised
- Creating compelling digital content across social media, email, web, photography, graphics, and video to support campaigns and storytelling
- Managing and optimising online income channels, including ecommerce, donations, merchandise, and other digital fundraising initiatives
- Planning, implementing, and monitoring paid digital and social media campaigns to maximise reach and return on investment
- Growing and managing social media communities while maintaining an engaging and consistent brand voice across all platforms
- Monitoring campaign performance using analytics and reporting tools, providing insights and recommendations to continually improve results
- Supporting fundraising campaigns, events, and organisational initiatives with integrated digital marketing activity
- Collaborating with internal teams, external agencies, and volunteers to strengthen digital engagement across the organisation
- Keeping up to date with emerging digital trends, technologies, and best practice to continually evolve the organisation's digital strategy
Skills and experience you will need for the Digital Marketing Executive role:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a digital marketing role with responsibility for campaign planning and delivery
- Proven experience managing digital campaigns that deliver measurable engagement and commercial or fundraising outcomes
- Experience managing websites, CMS platforms, SEO, Google Analytics (or GA4), and digital reporting
Content creation skills - Experience managing paid social and digital advertising campaigns
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and online income generation is highly desirable
- Experience using email marketing and marketing automation platforms such as Mailchimp or similar
- Excellent project management, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
