Chief Marketing Officer

Our client a not-for-profit, service organisation are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Marketing Officer to join our dynamic executive team. As a member of our senior leadership team, you will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in shaping and implementing marketing strategies throughout the organisation.

Based in North Dublin City, this role will suit a highly commercial Senior Marketing Manager looking to take that next step in their career into a CMO role. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial marketing experience, working within retail, FMCG or other consumer related industry. You will be a strong people leader and have a passion for building exciting marketing strategies and building brands.

This role has 3 direct reports and sits on a leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO. You will be onsite 3 days per week and work remotely outside of this. (Parking is available)

Day to day duties include but are not limited to -

  • Develop and implement brand strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Establish and maintain a positive corporate image and reputation in the market.

  • Develop and oversee the execution of rebranding activities.

  • Collaborate with retail teams to develop marketing strategies for outlets.

  • Plan, create, and implement comprehensive communications and social media strategy.

  • Design and implement digital marketing and e-commerce strategies.

  • Work with senior leadership team members to deliver on marketing requirements across the organisation.

  • Consult with third parties such as digital agencies and software vendors to optimize channels, lead generation, bidding, and targeting strategies for the group.

  • Research performance drivers to improve future campaign profitability/growth.

Applicants must have the following –

  • A degree (or equivalent) in digital marketing, business or related field is preferred

  • 8+ years of experience in a commercial marketing role, delivery of ROI and experience in brand building is essential

  • Previous success in establishing/developing a Marketing Department is valued along with measurable results/financial outcomes delivered

  • A digital marketing background in a fast-paced commercial environment.

  • Experience within media/content sectors is highly desirable.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to lead high-performance teams; confidence in representing brand externally

  • Creative mindset; adaptability managing diverse teams coupled with experience in fast-paced/complex organizations
