New Marketing Hub Launched

At Alternatives, we work with marketers and leading Irish businesses day in, day out. We know what’s happening in the market and thought it would be useful to share more of our insights on developing successful marketing careers with you. So we looked at our current site and decided it could be refreshed, changed and improved.  To make sure we got it right we first sent out a survey asking what

Irish marketers wanted from our site and then re-developed the website in response to your feedback.
Top of the list of what you wanted to hear more about were best practice in marketing (75%), access to mentoring advice (75%), career planning and CV preparation (65%). In response we have re-developed the Alternatives Marketing Hub.

This has four different areas:

1. News & Reviews – packed full of interesting marketing news from Ireland and abroad to help you keep up to date on new trends and market updates.
2. Career Toolkit – includes career advice, CV preparation, interview tips and answers to frequently asked career questions for marketers over a wide array of topics.
3. Marketing Know-how - A depository of information for you - the marketing community – with informative case studies, expert articles, example campaigns and whitepapers on all aspects of the marketing mix.
4. Insights to success – One of the most requested items from our survey was access to advice. We have put together tips, advice and even secrets from some of top professionals worldwide on how to drive success in everything you do in your marketing career.

Finally there are some re tweets from the world’s best marketing sites – all gathered together in one place for you to browse at your leisure.

In addition there is a revamped job search, plus new job alerts which we have implemented.  We’d love to get your feedback, thoughts, views, suggestions on it. All comments welcomed at marketinghub@alternatives.ie.
