Junior Achievement

ago, JA went worldwide in 1989 and is now in 120 countries reaching out to over 7 million young people each year. Junior Achievement Ireland started out in the academic year 1995/6 with 5 supporting companies and reached 500 students in Dublin. This year, with a team of 26 and offices in Dublin, Waterford, Cork, Limerick, Galway and Letterkenny, Junior Achievement will reach 63,000 primary and secondary school students with the help of 3,000 business volunteers from more than 150 supporting companies. We are in over 500 schools nationwide and growth is limited only by the number of volunteers available as we take a whole school approach – students from Senior Infants to Leaving Certificate classes will all enjoy a Junior Achievement programme, building real-world knowledge year on year.
