ICROSS are a small international organisation working to fight poverty and disease in the poorest parts of the world. For over 25 years we have worked with tribes in East Africa fighting disease. Health professionals work with local communities in long term development and health programmes.

Irish Deaf Kids

Irish Deaf Kids is is a for-impact venture aimed at supporting inclusive education for deaf children in Ireland. Over 2,000 deaf children currently attend mainstream schools in Ireland. For parents and teachers of deaf children, deaf people and others, Irish Deaf Kids provides a website and an online forum for discussion and information-sharing. The organisation also seeks to raise awareness about the different ways in which deaf people communicate, to link the deaf & hearing communities and to 'demystify' deafness.

Irish Raynaud's & Schleroderma Society

The Irish Raynaud’s & Scleroderma Society (IRSS) is a registered charity founded in 1988 to spread awareness and information, promote understanding of these two linked diseases, support research, administer relief, and improve communication between doctors and patients. The IRSS provides information and practical support to sufferers and their families, and increases the knowledge base of medical professionals. It receives no core government funding, and is reliant upon the generosity of volunteer effort and sponsorship.

International Family Day Care Organisation

Ireland holds the presidency of the International Family Day Care Organisation (IFDCO) 2006-2009 through Patricia Murray the Chief Executive of Childminding Ireland. It is an international network of members involved in Family Day-care (Childminding). IFDCO particularly aims to advance the education and training of Childminders and those associated with Childminding by holding conferences, promoting and publishing research and other relevant information. In 1985, 6 people from 5 countries met in Amsterdam and decided that there was a need for an organization to form networks and share good practice about family day care. In 1986, in London, 26 people from 6 countries gathered and IFDCO was formally founded.
