Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ireland
Big Brother Big Sister (BBBS) is an internationally renowned youth mentoring programme, which matches adult volunteers with young people aged 10-18 years who need an extra level of support in their lives. Through weekly meetings, volunteers become friends and positive role models to the young people they are matched to. Since its introduction in Dublin in 2006 BBBS has provided support and guidance to numerous young people locally. Foroige, the national voluntary youth development organisation hosts the programme in Ireland.
