ACET Ireland is part of an International Alliance of organizations seeking to respond to the AIDS pandemic. ACET provides practical and emotional care for those affected by HIV and education and training on issues related to HIV, including sexual health education, drug and alcohol abuse, self esteem and self awareness.

ADAPT Services

ADAPT is a voluntary organization established in 1974 to provide services to women experiencing Domestic Abuse: The Refuge in Limerick provides 24 hour/7days/365 days a year refuge accommodation for up to 11 families in individual apartments; transitional housing; 24 Hour Helpline; Outreach service in Limerick City and County; 1-2-1 support; translation service; advocacy and accompaniment; childcare; youth club and other supports for young people; play therapy; group support; training courses for women survivors; awareness raising training for statutory and community groups; lobbying for change to bring about the elimination of violence against women; participation in regional and national policy-making fora.
